Stephan Bormann - Germany

Stephan Bormann is considered to be one of the best jazz guitarists of the young generation.

In addition to being a successful musician in his own right (playing with his own group, the Stephan Bormann Band as well as with the Cristin Claas Acoustic Band, with Hands On Strings and alongside jazz stars such as Till Brönner or Nils Landgren), he works as a composer and author for the AMA publishing house.

He runs the electric-guitar program at Dresden’s University of Music and holds seminars and workshops in a number of towns in Germany and the United States. He recorded several CDs amongst others for example for the Sony/BMG company.
